Default split port fox?

Just got home from college, but due to the exhaust falling off my Buick half way home from school, I didnt get to call the shop today. so I was thinking about having the shop do a split port swap if it is relativly cheap to do so (if they can rebuild my current engine and have it run right, I'll go that way) but if they cant then I wanted to see if a split port swap would be possible...

I know a 5.0 could be put in, but i have a dare to be different personality...

anyway, what would I need aside from the complete engine, wiring harness, computer and a stronger fuel pump? I know I'll need odds and ends, like some fuel line fittings and some wires for gauges, but I bet some autometers would be easier to wire and better than the stockers

not too overly concerned about going fast, just want to have her on the road again. If a split port would be too hard/ expensive, I'll just see if they can rebuild my current engine or find a new engine...
