Just purchased a 3rd brake light has anyone had to replace theirs yet? Mine is all scratched and weatherd. How hard was it? I got a quick glance in the trunk this morning but didnt see where it was bolted or screwed in!

 

i havnt replaced mine but i painted the top black so it didnt look so bad, there are just 2 or 4 bolts in the inside of the light, u can see them if u look under the trunk lid with it open, they are actually studs with nuts on them i cant remember if it is 2 or 4

 

Yah I took a break and checked it out. Looks like there is just 2 bolts and a electrical wire! Thanks

 

Installation is simple, just be ready to replace it again later on. Im on my second one and its starting to show wear signs again.

 

how do you scratch that up? maybe if it was just the flat deck like jovez. You get that shift kit in yet?

 

yeah! mine looks horrible also, i think im gonna go with the idea of just painting the top of it black,

Well the 3rd brake light isnt really scratched, its weathered and looks scratched.

As far as the shift kit, not yet. im asking around for quotes on install. and i still need to get the gasket and trans fluid.

 

mine is actually curving up on one end, looks like sh*t
