Default Jacking points

I've been trying to figure out the best jacking points, but I cant find it. I've been wanting to lift the entire rear end or the entire front end at one time, instead of having to switch sides, can this be done/ I've heard some guys use the rear differential to jack the car up from, but I was under the impression this caused to much strain and could crack the casing.

Where do you all jack your car up from? I like to do my own work, but it takes longer to get the car int he air most times than it does to do whatever I'm going to do.

I jack the rear up with the diff and the front with the k-member. They all bear a load all the time so no, it won't cause any damage.

sweet, that will make my life much easier.

I've been jacking it up one side at a time, throught the wheel wells, because thats the only way I could get my jack underneath the car.

This is exactly what Ford put out for the support guide to jack your car up.

Jacking it up under the differential is actually a gamble because you can damage the housing so jacking it up on the axle tubes is the better way back there.
