Default clutch... again

has anybody ever pushed the clutch pedal down and had it stick there for a second and then pop back up? wierdest thing that started with my clutch pedal. ill push it down, and it feels like its getting caught on something for a split second when i try and let the pedal up.

Never had that. The only thing i've noticed is that the clutch pedal is close to me than the other pedals, but it's never stuck.

Cable could be pinched or pedal is getting stuck on carpet (floor mat or actual carpet as it goes up the firewall). Those are my guesses.
