Default Headers

So i got the flowmaster catback, and just picked up an x-pipe from Pypes. So i figured id go all out and get better headers. I think i remember reading that long tubes are the ones that increase performance, and shortys are kinda just like replacing stocks. So which headers would you suggest getting? (Brands and all) . IM not trying to spend more then 275 on headers, unless there are ones out there for more which are the 'aboslute must haves'.

Edit: This is the x-pipe i ordered, if that makes any difference. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...669&rd=1,1

I havnt put it on yet.

I believe Mac makes the only LT headers for the v6... I'm not entirely sure though.

The stock headers are flowing just fine with the power you're putting out. Unless you have F/I, you don't need headers. And now you have to get shorties unless you get a new midpipe, cause LT's won't work with that midpipe.

Also, MAC is the only brand that makes LT's for the V6. I warn you, though. Header installation is a pain in the ***, and unless you're doing it yourself, the instalation will cost more than the headers. Not sure about the V6, but putting LTs on the 4.6 is a 13 hour job.
