yeah i screwed up[8D] i know now to ask first. I went to a junk yard to look for a replacement maf and they were 60-65. I ordered one from e-bay(online yunk yard) for 40 shipped. Hopefully this will help someone trying to do the same as me. Oh well life goes on, this was just another stupid idea. Oh and by the way i got new exhaust installed, i'll upload some vid on you tube and post.

You can get a reman MAF for about $100 from Advance Auto parts.

Excuse me for asking, but did you take a moment to think that this post is there for a reason, and the MAF functions based on very minor fluctiuations of air speed and temprature? A very minor change in the MAF housing or an obstruction of the MAF grille can confuse your PCM in unimaginable ways.

Good luck on your quest for power, just make sure you do your research before you do anything drastic.

On another note, you might be able to reprogram your chip to work with the current MAF. Though that would be a complicated, expensive, and time consuming mission.

You can also buy a CAI with an aftermarket MAF for $200 - $300
