V6 engine? problems help
I have an 01 v6 auto. Recently when I accelerate between 1500 and 3000 rpm the engine feels like it wants to stall(it jolts/doesnt respond). Because I already changed my plugs & wires, & i also cleaned the injectors with injector fluid cleaner, my mechanic says it might be the timing belt or the computer. Have any of you guys had this problem or have any suggestions... thanks.
to do a real flush you'll want to take it to a shop. you can change the fluid and that always helps, but a good flush will do more for yah.
check around on prices though, some places will really try and get cha for that.

my shop does a full BG tranny flush for $150. definitly one of those things you want to do every 50K. keep your baby moving smooth and steady.
before you do it, think about adding a tranny oil cooler installed.... really keep her running forever.

good question.
if it's anything like when BG does the ignition cleaning i would assume they hook up something and actually do a drain then clean, then fill kind of deal.
it's better in the way of it costs less would be my guess.
please correct me if i'm wrong

well what happens with a flush is they hook up a pump and actually pull and flush all the fluid out.
on an auto transmission not all the fluid is just in the pan. it's in the TC, the lines. just dropping the pan and cleaning out doesn't take care of all of the fluid.
