so my buddy drives a 2002 eclipse gt 3.0 v6, automatic. i own a 2000 3.8, 5 speed with a cold air intake and dual flowmaster exhaust. we race constantly at lights and just around town. and everytime its a dead even race, it doesnt seem right where hes even with me everytime, anyobdy know why, or whats better about his car

 

do yall run from a stop?

 

we do both sometimes, rolling its always dead even, from a stop he launches faster, then im right back with him once i hit 2nd

 

from a stop u should have him

practice ur launching and go get him

 

Third Gen eclipses are slow...You should have no problem
