Default CAI Problem

I got an intake from my buddy that he had lying around. Its made specifically for my stang. I put the thing on last night ran fine didn't have any idle problems like i did before when i put my K&N intake on. Drove to work and back home which is a lil over 20miiles and i get almost home and the service engine light comes on. I know what i'm doing so i know its installed right and the maf is connected right i just don't know what could be causing the code. I'm gonna run to autozone and have them seem what the code is. Does anybody have anybody ideas? I'm startingto think that its just my car about a year ago i bought a K&N intake like i said before and my car wouldn't idle right so i sent it back and put the stock intake back on and the car ran fine.

Doesnt K&N need to be changed through a tuner? Your a/f might be off. Try cleaning the maf

I'm thinking it's something with your MAF sensor inside of it. Usually that would cause a problem if its been hit, chipped or dirty. But yeah, I have heard that some, you have to tune.
