Default Screamin Demon coil pack

I have been thinking about getting a screamin demon coil pack with the wire that are recommended to get with it. I read that you can open you spark plug gap up to .062-.065 I was wondering what that will do for my car performance wise and what would be a good gap to put it at? Also would i need to adjust the timing if i open that gap up more? Thanks

i got it and opened up the gap to .065 and the car fell on it's *** in high rpms. i closed the gap to .060 and the power has come back, but i'm not sure if it's all the way back or not. anyways the car runs much smoother through the rpm's and i think that the reason i feel the power is still off is because i have more low end power and the car pulls good all the way through the rpm band instead of really starting to pull around 2500 rpms. also with the new coil pack the motor doesn't vibrate so much at higher rpms it's quite smooth. i'm not really sure if i would do it again.
