I say that because a Stage 2 is maxed out at 400hp, which is on the verge of completely destroying the clutch disc. The engine he "plans" to have will eat it alive, it's better to run at least a Stage 3 with that much power.

I've decided to disregard the whole 4.2 Stroker engine. Instead, I am going to use SSMs Stage 3 PowerPak with all the upgrades they have listed. I'm still going to get the Turbo from TMA, but the PowerPak is going to be fine to handle it, rather than getting a whole friggin engine. Any comments?
The power pack isn't going to help the engine. You're still going to need forged internals to keep the engine from blowing, so why not just get a fully built 4.2 engine from SSM or Morana that comes with forged internals? It'd be easier and probably cheaper. I think Morana had a forged 4.4L long block for like $4k.
