Default Cutting springs

Hey guys, im cutting my springs either tonight or tommorw. Can anyone give me a quick run through of what i gotta do, what to take off etc... what tools i might need like to cut the spring and to compress it when taking it out if i have to etc. How much should i cut off because ive heard they will sag a little after i do it... just an overview of what i gotta do...

Do NOT use a torch, use a cut off wheel in an angle grinder or a sawz all. They won't sag after cutting because they already have, that's just on new springs. Also you won't need a compressor, just a floor jack and have the car up on jack stands. Make sure you reuse the rubber isolators or they will be noisy. The worst part off cutting them is you have to cut a little then reinstall it and let the car down and roll it to let it settle then see if it's where you want it and if not do it again. I wouldn't cut more than half a coil at a time because if you cut to much off you're screwed. You can get Ford's C racing springs for around $140.00 for a whole set. Plus they are stiffer for better cornering.
