idling at 3000

Default idling at 3000

[:@]my 95 is idling at 3000! can anyone give a suggestion to what could be the cause? my bf tried putting a new IAC {think thats what it was} and it did nothing. when i turn the air on the idle will sometimes go down some. please help

have you replaced anything on it? like the tb or anything lately? (before it started happening)

check your spark plugs. Also check for any burned holes in the spark plugs wires. Those tend to make a car idle high.

No, spark plugs, if defected, will cause your engine to idel low, and misfire as a result. Please whatch what you say before you say it.
