Default Emission Testin

OK, so last friday I wend to do emission testing.First time I tried, the guy said that it failed bacause the engine wasn't warm enogh and that is what computer said. So, I decided to drive my car for another hour. After about hour and a half I came back to do testing and it gives me the same mistake. I was like WTF??? The guy said that it might be computer's fault and that I shoud go and check out my comp in the car???

Now, is it really comp's fault??? I do have dual exhaust, I don't know which make (I bought it with duals), but it shoud be fine??? Is it really computer's fault??

I'd go somewhere else, I'm hoping he didn't keep charging you for each "fail".......

they put something in my exhaust and then connected with my comp. under the steering wheel. Everytime it failed, they didn't charge me since I didn't fail the testing, but the comp. failed to read the data. Anyway, I gonna see different emission testing place on monday

Could also be the guy doesn't know how to interpret the readings.

Did you disconnect your battery or retune your car shortly before going in? If so, your computer was not ready.

What I mean is anytime you disconnect the battery or retune the car, it has to complete was called an OBDII readiness drive cycle. It's a series of driving scenarios that allow all of the sensors to test themselves and run through their full range of readings. If you take your car in for an emissions test and they scan the computer on your car, if it hasn't had a chance to complete this cylce, their scanner will tell them, the cars not ready.

This cycle can take up to two weeks or longer depending on how much you drive and what kind of driving you do.
