I am trying to replace my factory gauges and can't figure out how to remove the headlight ****, Any help?

 

dont know about an '01, but my '98 Haynes manual says something about depressing a retaining clip with a small screwdriver. picture shows the clip to be on outside underneath the switch.

my best tech advice, get a Haynes manual. if they dont cover an issue, write to them. they once gave me a supplement (free of charge) because a manual on another car didn't cover the sun roof. They're generally pretty good about showing you they are the experts.

 

Pull the **** out all the way. There is a slot in the left side. Take a small flat blade screwdriver and slide it in the slot pulling towards you and pull on the ****, it should slide right off.
