Damn[:@], you guys changed it again.

I like Magnaflows much much more than Flowmasters. Flowmasters are OK, but are too overdone, and not very individualistic. I'm willing to bet that out of all the 6 bangers and V8s in your area that have exhaust work done, 80-90% of them have Flowmasters, probably almost nobody has Magnaflows. Flowmasters suffer from rusting issues over the long haul and their sound is [&:], down low it's great, but I just don't like their top ends, too loud and not enough sound tone and control. Magnaflows have a nice deep and mellow idel and a fairly loud, although not overdone, top end that has lots of sound control and muffler tone instead of just droping into the engine sound like Flows do. Mags are also made of stainless steel, so they'll last an extremly long time. Only problem is finding a shop that will either order them, or one that will install a preassembled kit. Also, for the mid pipe, if you want a more milder controled sound, then an X pipe will be best, if you want a little louder deeper sound than an H pipe will be best.

I vote for a steeda tri-ax or similar short throw shifter. It is a mod that will making driving more fun, and something you will notice every single time you drive the car regardless of if you drive real fast or just chill. It's an install you can do yourself and will give you confidence to move onto bigger and better mods.

check here for some prices

remember you have a T-5 transmission.

Did you hear them on a V6, though? And if you buy the catback, don't get the MagnaPacks. Those sound terrible on a sixer.

Also, I don't know why nobody ever mentions Bassani in the V6 section. They sound amazing on GT's, and really good on V6's. They're only a tad more expensive than Magnaflow catbacks, too.

This is not from personal experience, this is just from what I've read. An H-pipe will give you a louder more agressive tone, while an X-pipe will give you a quieter sound. Most people would prefer an H-pipe or even a true dual set-up especially for a V6

They did some 40 pulls, some on stock cars, and some of turbo'd cars, the results were the same.
