The Next Step....
as u can tell from my sig, i now have a CAI and wondering what should i get next? i was thinking about an x-pipe, possibly 3.73 gears....
can i get some other options on what to get.... in previous posts i had said i wanted a s/c but it turns out that i wont be getting it for a while so now i wanna know what are some good bolt ons and things i can do to the engine....
thanks everyone
p.s.- can someone tell me the max size my sig have to be?

so then it was a waste of money [&:]thats great.....well, now that i know that...i want to put money into something worth it. so would u all agree with the xpipe? what mufflers would u all suggest? i dont want anything obnoxious but i want it to be known i got some power when i get on the gas. i was thinking maybe magnaflow since i hear theyre more performance.
its not really a waste, its more for the look of it. I don't care so much about how my engine bay looks as long as it runs good. If you want to save money, research is your best friend. I'm tossing around the idea of building my motor and then blowing it with a procharger or something. The thing is, I don't even have the money right now, and I won't even start the project till next summer, if that, but I'm starting my research now, so I can make sure I get the best deals, everything works, and that I have the time to think it over in case I change my mind. Just do some digging when you want to do a mod and you'll find the best solution, whether its what you had in mind or something else.
personally, I'd get some Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, look around online and see what you can find for deals, and then when you get them, put those puppies in your passenger seat, drive over to the muffler shop, tell em you want a custom exhaust from the cats back, with either an x pipe or an h pipe, whichever you prefer, and hand over the mufflers.
I'm not really sure about the differences between x, h, and divorced as far as performance and sound. I'm still looking for somehing that has the snaps and crackles when the revs drop like between shifts, or when you rev your engine. I love that sound, but I can't figure out which exhausts gives that sound.

one more thing, if you want a name brand, like borla or bassani, they'r great products too. They make good catback systems, but its kind of like the CAI thing, you can get the same thing made at a shop, or a lesser known brand name, and get the same performance, with a lower price. Listen to sound clips on here and youtube and see if you can find an exhaust that you really like.
