You can get gears for your 2.3L in Jegs or Summit, mainly mail order companys like that. Assumeing your 2.3L is stock you should have a 7.7 rearend, so all you have to do is look in those magazines or online, and find your size to get the gears you want

 

7.5 rear end (its ok, happens to the best of us actually. Gears are all over the place for that rear. Get some 3.73's, then you can pull like av8! ... in 1st at least anyways <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

 

I was able to find 3.45 gears for my car. How would those gears affect my car and what kind of work do i need to do to install them?

 

3.45? Are you sure thats right? Besides that, what gears do you have now&gt;

 

Yes on summit's site they have a Ford: 7.5 in. ring gear, 3.45 ratio, ring and pinion set. And the gears i have right now are just the stock ones. Would those gears work good on my car? What effect would they have?</P>
