Ahhh i guess having a V8 ruined me in terms of exhaust, just got back from getting my true duals w/ Pro force mufflers put on and honestly i think it sounds like poooo. Anyone have any after market mufflers on there that keep it pretty quiet. I didnt really do the exhaust just for the sound, i almost wish it sounded the same as stock maybe a tiny tiny bit louder. Anyone feel like tradin for some newish force mufflers?

 

pro force?... You should have went with flowmaster.. I went with cherry bomb vortex. Which sounds really quiet imo. it only gets loud if i rev it up their.

 

GT/Cobra take-off mufflers... Louder than stock, but they don't have such a propensity for the "V6 rasp".

Yeah bro try magnaflow ive only got one its nice not too loud just right and gives a little performance too but i agree flows and pros sound like crap.like a fake v8 lol buts thas my opionion

yea the cats are on, and theyre not raspy or high pitched at all, its just this really low pitched farting drone.

Idle: Little rumble, quiet but nice
500-1500rpms: Pretty much sounds stock, not a real bad thing
1500-3000- fart can, horrible drone, range im in mostly when im driving so it sucks!
abover 3000: Sounds pretty good, almost like less muffler is making the sound and more motor but its louder than stock so it sounds good.

 

Hmm, maybe they did some sh!tty work on your exhaust, like bends and size etc...
Or it is just the mufflers.

 

probably just the mufflers, got under the car after and everything actually looks really really good. Like i said though my other car is a 5.0L with edelbrock headers, no cats, and flowmasters, so i just dont think any exhaust on this car can sound good to me, im doomed

 

The bends have nothing to do with the sound. Trust me. lol
