Default final decision???

ok... i'm about to do the whole 60,000 mile tune-up stuff which of course includes transmission fluid & filter. i have always had the idea of putting a shift kit on, but since i have never done it obviously, i have no idea of the difficulty involved. this is something i do want to do myself since it'll be convient while i'm down there (and i like doing as absolutely as much work as possible by myself on my car). but i know that if you screw up the valve body you arereally screwed and have to replace it. PLEASE help out guys and (girls)... thanks!

It's not a hard job, just read the directions well. Get it up on some jack stands to be safe.

owell... just ordered one from summit this morning. hopefully it shouldn't be too hard like you said - and yes i'll read the instructions like ten times too! hope it's as good of a mod as everyone claims it is.

It's a very good mod and you will feel the difference + it should chirp the tires from the 1 - 2 shift when you get on it. While you have the pan off install a magnetic drain plug in it. Then later when you want to change the fluid you won't have to drop the pan.
