Default V6 downpipe details

Hi All

Q? what is thesize of the stock downpipeand clamp size for the 97 3.8 V6.....basically the part of the pipe that joins directly to the stock collector.....Im asking because i dont have the car with me to check.....Im guessing 2&1/2 inch with a flare.

I need two of these sections for a custom turbo header job.....Anyone know where I can buy a couple of pieces and what exactly I should be asking for.......kind of a sketch below

they can be called downpipes as well. Depending on the type of car, different terms are used. As far as american muscle, most of it seems tobe call midpipes and other terms used around here. In the import scene, it seems that they are referred to as downpipes and testpipes. They all are the same thing pretty much, just different names.
