i think my cars cluth went (5speed) but the dealer says it just needs new spark plugs coil and regular cleaning when i put it in gear it goes fine but when swithing from first to second the car bounced forward and back and the shifter shakes violently same for al other gears but sometimes it works fine and then when i go over 45 it does it constently the car isnt losing power when this hapens i can just feel the transmision grab and let go

 

With the engine idling smoothly, and under load of first gear, but not going into second, I tend to suspect the tranny, then maybe the clutch. But I think your dealer is off-base.

If you give us more symptoms we can give you more precise ideas.

 

Iagree with MantaDreams. Could be that you're losing 2nd gear. Happened to my bro in his explorer. I'd take it to a transmission specialist cuz it sounds like you're dealer has no clue.
