Default Yeah, I don't know a subject for this post

Alright, I was cleaning my filter today and I thought about the BBK 70mm TP and the C&L 73mm MAF, would those work with my CAI tubing w/o any modifications to fit? I'm thinking the TP would but I'm not so sure about MAF. It's just an out of the blue question. Later...

The throttle body would fit , but most people will tell you it doen't help performance.
The MAF housing shouldn't fit, if it any thing like my C&L kit. The C&L housing doesnt havethe flange on one end to bolt to the intake tube. You might be able to cut the flange offthe tube and then clamp the MAF into the modified tube. I would call C&L, they have a good tech line and they could probaby provise you with better info. I have called the, before, they know their stuff.
Heres the # (256) 882-6813
They are open M-F 10-5 ( Central time zone, I think)

Neither of those will give you anything power-wise on the V6. I'd invest in something else.

Of course, I'm doing all the of supporting modifications. I'm planning to build on N/A for awhile and went I get that built up decently, I'll put a supercharger on it. I'm not just going to put on a MAF and TP and be done with it.

So, if I built my engine decently up, the MAF and TP would still be worthless? I mean full custom exhaust, P&P Upper/Lower intakes, cams and the supporting mods for that, a UDP, etc. It'd still be worthless? I'm trying to see where I'm at and need to go from here. I'm buying a bike today so I'm going to be out of cash for a bit until next pay day

Both of those mods are pointless until you either do the S/C and or i/h/c work.

Evertually I'm going to S/C. Would it hurt my hp or torque if I went ahead and installed those with p/p intakes, cams, etc. etc.? Thanks bro.

I was wanting to build N/A for awhile and then when I got the engine decently built, go S/C.
