Default Heating exhaust pipe

Will running the car heat the exhaust pipes enough to reshape a small section of it with a hammer? To find out why Im doing this see here. https://mustangforums.com/m_3929976/...tm.htm#3935690

A tip I got from GT guys withsame problemon stang.net. Except I assume they used a torch to heat theie pipes when doing it.

No it won't. If you have enough room to swing a hammer that would do it without heating it.
