Default Rebuilt 3.8, need suggestions

Ok im getting a rebuilt 3.8 longblock from super six motors, and i need opinions. I was going to get a T-56 tranny which is the 03/04 tranny, but with it i need to find a 5.0 bellhousing, clutch arm, clutch, shifter, transmission cross-member, shortened driveshaft. Im about to buy the tranny alone for 1,000. And i was wondering if it was better to go with the cobra and find these extra parts, or would it be easier and cheaper to find a stronger T-5? Im not a tranny guy

I would personally go with the t5. I had one in my lx running 12.2 with no issues, and that one was stock except for a short throw shifter. http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=861581Here is a good example of an aftermarket one. Good luck.
