I thought you could use projectors with hid kits, but according to american muscle, you shouldnt!!

Also, I know there is a reflex bulb and a projector bulb. What is the difference? What does the reflex bulb do?

BMW Lexis Audi VW all use hids with projector and halos

blus stangmods sells their HIDS as kits if you want to pay that much that include projector headlights and hid bulbs and ballasts

and a guy on the 4.6 section did it as well look at the verry bottom of this page he talks about how hids are better in a projector housing then in a stock housing

Yeah, Ive seen it a bunch too, but this struck me funny since I saw it at american muscle AND on like 5 ebay auctions.

Probably not for the brand of Projectors they're using. I mean seriously.

Read the other Note "We recommend sealing the headlights with RTV Silicone to prevent moisture condensation inside. Umm..if they are of high quality they will be sealed well from the Factory and not need any additional sealing. They probably had a bunch of complaints about moisture getting inside so they had to come up with a 'Fix'. Not baggin on American Muscle, but you get what you pay for.

For High End Projectors (that could handle HID) you will probably pay that much PER headlight, not a pair.
