New clutch and aluminum flywheel would be a nice complement, but if you can't afford the flywheel, then make sure your stock flywheel is resurfaced, providing the possibility that it hasn't been somehow damaged by the clutch. My bet of the clutch is the throwout bearing, but after market clutches, such as those by Spec, are much better than stock. I say stage 1 spec clutch and spec or fidanza, aluminum flywheel. The ligher flywheel will allow you to rev up quicker during launches and driving and will also reduce some drivetrain loss due to weight, so you'll get a hair pin more power to the wheels as well as a hair pin better mpg because of the weight loss, but in any sense, the bennifits of just being able to rev up and accellerate a little quicker make it worth the slight extra cost.
ahh, thank you man that is what i thought it was, money is not an issue really, do you suggest haveing a shop do it and would you have any idea how long it will take do do the install? im fairly knowledgeable on cars as far as engine and drivetrain but new to manuals...you suggest a spec clutch kit or king cobra? only thing i have heard about the cobra clutch is abot 80 dollars different but please enlighten me
