Default RE: run open headers

I have run open headers for 2 years on my 85 monte carlo ss, with no problems with anything. No burnt valves and gained power. Ofcourse it was a 360 (350 bored.060 over) with some slight tweaking to it.

And it sounded awesome.

Your small block chevy doesn't require a lot of back pressure to create torque. Our v6 does require back pressure or torque will be lost. How it all works I still don't know. Can someone explain why our v6's need back pressure to create torque?
