What would be some good beginner upgrades for my V6 Mustang?

 

How much are you willing to spend?

 

First performance mod a Cold Air Intake unless you're planning on getting a turbo/super charger (as it will be replaced).

Other than that pretty much any relatively small tape on styling mod. i.e. rear black out panels. I like the silver horse racing honey comb tail light panel myself.

 

Look at the sticky at the top of the page for what everyone else has done.

 

+1 to all the above. Remember this though, beginner mods, as you put them, are usually basic bolt ons that generally do not gain much, if any hp, so make your decision wisely. Do some research with the stickies, then as a more specific question.

 

Are you looking for speed or hp? Is your car a stick or an auto? do you want to make something of your car or just make it satisfactory?
