does anyone have recommendations for perfromance chips and is it a noticable difference? are they worth it?

buy a tuner, not a chip, i suggest sct, you notice them, and need it for some mods

I bought a chip once, never again though. Do as 02MustangV6DD suggested and get a tuner.

Go for the tuner not a chip, tuners on average go for about $300-$500 for a good one. You can reuse a tuner everytime you get a new mod, where as a chip is a one time wonder. IMO I'd get the SCT Livewire but it is one of the more expensive ones going for about $550-$580.
