I just replaced my cluster and all the gauges are working right except the gas hand and the temp gauge. I got the cluster used and i was wondering it there is a way to reset the cluster somehow or how do i go about fixing the two gauges that arent reading right? Thanks

 

Would you mind telling us what kind of car you're putting it and what it came out of? And also include why you are replacing it.

 

It is a 96 v6 and i replaced it bc the guy who had it before me put a GT 150mph cluster in it but the chips went bad so i just got a used cluster out of a 98 v6

 

What chips?

 

Someone said that the chips in the back of the cluster went bad and so i just bought a new cluster. I dont know exactly what he was talkin about but the whole cluster was messing up, none of the gauges would work so thats why i got this used one.

 

HMMM, I've never heard of that before, but I'd recommend trying another cluster, get on ebay and you can probably get one for around $20. You may have just bought one that already had issues.
