Default Electrical Problems

98 3.8L V6 Coupe
Yesterday after I washed my car, I noticed the power door locks weren't working. Didn't think much of it at the time cuz sometimes on hot days (which we have a lot of down here in Florida) the passenger power window doesn't want to roll down but after the car has cooled down inside it works fine. So I went back inside to put away my bucket and crap then hopped in the car to go get some wax. On the way I noticed the Radio, Speedometer, and Dome Light were all dead as a doornail in addition to the pwr door locks. I checked a bunch of the fuses and they were all good (don't have an owners manual so I don't know which fuse goes to what)and I checked to make sure I had good connections on all the battery wires. Everything is hooked up tight but still no change with the electrical problems. Any ideas before I take it to an electrical shop on Monday?

Since all your electric is down, I would guess that your battery is low / dead. Maybe the alternator. Do you have to jump your car to get it started?

Here's a pic of my fuse diagram for 2000 Mustang - If you can's find a bad fuse, you might want to use a voltometer to check for shorts...Pull each fuse out and connect each end of the voltometer to the fuse terminals to see if there is any voltage (there shouldn't be). If it shows voltage, you have a short.

Fixed it-- found this fuse diagram that pointed me right to the problem. This diagram is for 94-98 3.8L's
