well idk that part but i dont want to spend to much on a motor.....
idk i hear 2002 gt motors are like 2.7k.......so anything cheaper i guess....

Without a budget its hard to help you. But I'll just goahead and say probably nothing is in your range.

well im glad to know im getting a 3k check tomorow.....
and i dont want to blow it all.......so i wanted to see what is the cheapest motor that i could get...

well if you want to keep the V6, Get a 99+ engine. That only cost about 300 used, then you can mod the **** outta it

yeah i heard to go from a single port to a dual would be the best thing to do....
how much would it be for the motor

for god's sake he can have a 4.2L low mileage V6 for $1000 and that would include all the parts needed to do the 4.2L splitport swap

MPS has 99+ 3.8's for $600 for god's sake. what planet are you from

I second it.... check with MPS. They are reasonable and if nothing else and you have the time get a used engine and rebuild it.. not too hard with the engine out and with 3 k in the bank you can do a lot to it above and beyond. Saves you from paying for somebody elses work. It's labor cost that runs the prices up. Just do your research and figure out what you want first.
