So when i go to shift into 2nd fast with the clutch still in, it grinds bad. How much does it cost for a transmission rebuild and how much would it cost to just swap out mine for another?

It costs a lot more than it should! Try shifting slower and get the most out of your tranny, if it goes it goes. And that is deffinately something that you would rather no want to have replaced.

transimissons arn't hard to replace if you know what your doing just go to a slavage yard first too see what they got, you never know you might get lucky. And when your shifting fast dont jam the gear, ease it in when shifting you just have too practice.

I just had the Trani rebuilt on mine and it ran about $1200. I had a bent and worn cluster gear thanks to the previous owner and their uncaning driving ability.
