Why try and tell me what I should be doing when I drive my car? I'm going to be doing anything I want and you won't be there to stop me. I'm not dumb anyways.

If I get a chance to go 120+ I want to know what I'm doing. It's not cool when you go past 120mph and don't see it climbing numbers anymore.

In detail, what all would I have to do?

Anyways, the reason I ask if you can do this is because I want these http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=380

yea it can be done but you will have to take the chip from the back of your spedo and put it in the back of the new 150/160 mph spedo and it should all work fine

If you want the full Roush cluster in your V6 - just get the V6 cluster.... MUCH easier. Part number SM03-5601-V6. They require a core in return. It's not a lay over like 99% of the crap gauges out there. It's the full thing, like the GT variation.

They are just telling you that because it is a safety issue. You aren't the only one out there that can get hurt if something goes wrong on the street. Say you're going 125mph and you have a blow-out. When you hit that minivan that the mom is carpooling the kids from soccer practice in the right lane, you are responsible. It has nothing to due with how dumb or smart you may be, it's just the fact that accidents happentoeveryone.

Did you read any part of my post or did youjust start rambling? I want to know my speed when I pass 120mph. Why pay a couple hundred bucks for something I kinda like, instead of something I love and wanted to begin with?

That's the problem with some of you experienced guys. When aninexperienced guy asks you for help on something that may be difficult and worth it, you just tell us to settle for something eaiser that you think we want.

Seriously, don't worry about it. Maybe I go to Willow Run Airport and top out my car there.

If this is such a huge issue to you guys (saftey), why don't you go preach to the 20-something-year oldCobra guys?

Quite wasting my time. I'm here to mod my car. Not get safty tips.

Because its much more safe to go 150 in a cobra than it is in a stock-ish v6 mustang -
Yes accidnets can happened anywhere thats besides the point.
