i have also have the same kind of problem..........but its only in 5th gear......it grinds half the time..........................................i think your problem is the clutch, as so with mine

Sounds like the syncro's could be going bad.

If you have an aftermarket clutch cable, quadrant or firewall adjuster then you could just be out of adjustment.

Also if could be that the throwout bearing has worn out and causing the same problem.

Your clutch fork could have also become worn or shifted off the pivot ball.

Any number of those things could have been the problem and personally I have had each one of those things happen to me to cause that problem your just desribed, even the syncro problem has come my way more than once.

Good luck with it, its best to get it taken care of now or have your car towed later because it fails completly.
