O2 Sensor reset??
My 2003 3.8L had a broken exhaust, right side above the catalytic. Before it wasfixed the O2 sensor set off the SES light, now how do I reset the SES light without paying $90 bucks to a shop with a computer?
A few folks suggested 1. Disconnect the battery, 2. Drive it for 3 days, 3. It has to be put on a computer...
Any help for a new guy?

You need to leave it disconnected for about 15 min. for the computer to reset it's self, this will also reset the idle so it might be a little rough the first timeback on.If the code comes back right away then you have a sensor unplugged, if it takes a day or 2 to come back then you have a bad sensor/have not fixed the problem.

Thanks to All
The battery disconnect worked for now.
I got bored at work so went and tried it. For a five minute idle the SES light did not come on after reconnect.....
Thanks again....

But on the other hand if they just look for a SES/CEL then you're good.
