I know Iknow, its been asked about ten thousand times but and I did search it but i saw different answers on there. But for a 98 manual 5 speed i need a8 toothwhite 23 from steedafor 3.73 gears correct? Thats what i thought i saw before and I did see it a few times when i searched but others were saying that its off and it wont be that accurate. thanks for the help guys

didnt think that would work for a 98 I thought that was a new edge.

 

SCT makes one for you

 

Wrong. SCT's tuner cannot change your gear ratio for you, nor will a speedcal. This will only work on 99 and up which have an all electric vss. on the 94-98's its a manualvss and you have to replace the gear inside the speed sensor itself.

+1 on what 97tunedmustang said. Pre 99 mustangs need extra speedo gear installed to correct it.
