yeah autolite.....damn it i put em on a cpl weekends ago i saved one of the boxes just in case ill have to go ge tit and find out in the morning..but what difference will that make??....plus it wasa doing it before i put them in..

Because our cars hate platinum plugs for some strange reason. Re-check your wires and make sure they are connected correctly, clean your MAF, and check your tps. I had that problem before and one of those things fixed it.

Do you guys think that the wires arching would cause what feels like a misfire at idle? My car usually idles around 750rpms, but then it will drop to about 500rpms. My buddy said he noticed some white arching marks on the wires when we replaced my exhaust manifold gaskets.
yes. and if you already have white arching marks, they're is no fixing that, replace them. Arcing on a wire looks like a white powdery substance on a wire in a particular spot. Depending on how bad it is, it may have a dark brown or black center. It's already getting worse it sounds like.

ok so i changed the wires today and it still feels like it boggs sometimes or skipps or something most of the time whne i get on the gas a lil bit...so any more suggestions....
