Depends what V8 you want in your car, and why do you want a V8 in your car?

I always wanted to have a v8 but right now I have a v6, which is nice, but I want to feel that muscle rumbling and power. So I decided to do a swap, but the problem is what do I need to do to fit a v8 in my v6 chassis. Here is a video of my mustang:

If you want to toss money at it go ahead. You could try to find a donor GT car. Or just sell yours and buy a GT.

Or you could have been smart and bought a GT in the beginning.

Use the search, this topic has been covered more than once.

Or you could make your v6 faster than a v8 for less money than buying a GT.

it depends on what year you have, i know that a 1995 and younger to put a fuel injected 5.0 you have to buy the engine, transmission, wire harness, gauge cluster, intake, exhaust, and a rear differential to handle the extra power. i know theres more to it but i looked at doing a swap for my 95 3.8 because the engine blew but the total came to around 3800 for just the parts themselves so i just bought a used 3.8 and tossed that in instead of a 5.0 because i didnt have the money. i know that 96 and up has the 4.6 but im not sure how swappable that is with the 6 cylinder

its the exact same scenario. ontop of everything you listed you have to get a new kmember, front suspension, radiator, and a few other things. it will cost WAY more money than it is worth to drop in a bone stock 4.6l 2v.
