Default windstar help

1st of all what benefits are there or is it just visual? 2nd what is the part list i need to bring to the junk yard? 3rd is there a step by step on how to do it??

I have seen the pics of it and like the look so i think i will do this along with the turbo system since it looks like it may have better air distubution.

it flows quite a bit better than the stocker..its been a while so im not sure if im gonna get all this but ill try. im going to assume that you will be getting a new hood? if not it will require some major modifyin of the tb.

[ul][*]windstar intake with bolt spacer things in it..youll see what i mean when you see the intake[*]new upper intake gaskets for the windstar[*]custom bracket to hold the coil pack[*]many rubber hoses to re-route vacume lines all over the place[*]iac delete plate, easilly made at home.[*]iac relocation bracket, also pretty easy to make[*]either a windstar tb or you will need to make a custom plate to block off the hole for the iac on the windstar intake manifold[*]custom cai[*]if you have a 99-00 you will need an 01+ throttle cable[*]custom throttle/cruse bracket[*]custom/rerouted upper radiator hose[*]egr delete if you dont have emmisions or egr lowering bracket if you do. i came up with the lowering bracket and can let you know how i did it if you want to know[/ul]
i think thats about it but there might be more. its been a very very long time.

here are a couple of pics of the relocation bracket. its pretty damn simple really.

pretty much yea. you have to unbolt it from the firewall and pull it off your pedal then it will pull out of there and it just unhooks from the tb. the new one goes in just the oposite.

here is a pic of my rad hose..

if you mean the copper pipe, just a hardware store then bend it to wherever you need to. i used compression fittings on the ends to get a leak free fit on both sides. as long as the hose can hold up to exhaust gas temperatures then you will be fine. the hose i had on there originally..can be seen in the radiator hose pic, was made to be attatched to the AIR injection system on some car but it even melted away. thats why i used copper pipe.
i got a 96. i think 96-98 are all the same.
