NEED SOME HELP!!!
ok i have a 2001 v6 mustang, and at the end of the school year im looking to get another car. should i get a GT, or throw a supercharger on the v6...would a supercharged v6 be faster than a gt? just want to hear some opinions.
a procharged 01 v6 would be alot faster than a stock 99 to current GT.
300rwhp and 300ftlbs of torque to the wheels. other things need done though. the rear needs beefed up with a detroit truetrac and better gears like 3.73's or even 4.10's. you will need a good tuneing session on a dyno to ensure the engine is setup correctly for the blower.

Justin offers a complete procharger kit that includes proper injectors,MAF,fuel pump,SCT tuner loaded with a custom tune for your car which will be close enough to drive it to a dyno tuning session and the ability to change alot of other ECU parameters.
i have a 99 GT vert. it's nothing to brag about at all. damn nice car but not fast at all. my procharged 98 making only about 230rwhp runs from it and it beats bolt-on 99-04 GT's
if you want a GT then buy one but be advised that it will not even come close to running like a procharged 99+ 3.8 will do even with full bolt-ons and gears it isn't even close. you would need to nitrous the GT to make it equal.
it will all come down to cost difference.
$5000 should get the blowerkit from VMP and cover the rear give or take $500
cost of the GT compared to the blower and rear upgrades??? should be about the same. 300rwhp V6 or 220rwhp V8 for the same money difference?? you decide

thanks bro that really helped out. my car is payed for and i dont want to go into my first year of college witha car payment and insurance over $300...im seriously thinking procharger, bbk intake, and longtube headers for it. and maybe the 3.73 gears...does the procharger make that whining noise on a v6?
