do you really need 42's. i am not very familar with a boosted v6 but thats a lot of injector.

Might as well do 42's.
y?

42's or 39's, anything smaller would just be pointless.
its not pointless. i know on a v8 car 42's will handle 500hp. it says in your sig your making 255rwhp sounds like 30's would have gotten the job done and been easier for the tuner. with the 42's or 39's whichever you chose it would have been a pain in the *** to lean out from all the fuel being dumped in. just my .02
no the air demand of a 3.8 requires 39 or 42 lb injectors. especially ported heads running 11psi.

7psi with a vortech on a 99+ you can run 30's but 42's are fine too.

ported 3.8 heads either singleport or splitport flow as good as most aftermarket 5.0 heads and stock 3.8 heads easily outflow E7TE heads. combined with 9.5:1 compression stock and you need the fuel to keep from detonating.

hell old supercoupes ran 36lb injectors

Whats the point of buying 30s and then needing new injectors in a month?

255hp and that was limited due to me forgetting to bring my plug wires with me, I have a custom I/C setup I'm working on, I'm porting heads, have a 218/224 cam to install... Leaning out was easy didn't take the tuner long at all.
