as you know the 2000 mustangs have a split system for the stereo and cd player.
i need to know what do i do with the empty hole where my cd player was after i changeout my system. thanks

 

See your dealer. There's a cubby hole/shelf that will go there...

 

If you get your stereo installed at a decent place like Circuit City they should have either a blank face plate or the afore mentioned cubby hole.

Or when you get the "cubby hole" you can put an equalizer in there. Even tho you may not need it cuz a lot of head units already have a built in equalizer, it looks really cool!!! just a suggestion, thats what im gonna do... cuz its a perfect fit and it looks soo clean, then you have no spaces in the dash!! WOO WOO!!
