Default A few more problems......

Ok so i finally got the car running again and it still has some problems......Everytime i start the car the gauges reset and so does my trip......And it goes into overdrive but when i let off the gas it slips out of od......but the strange thing is that i unhooked the od wire over a year ago. And when i pull up and stop for a minute i have about 2 drops of tranny fluid......any suggestions??

Check all them connections man. The cluster should only "full-sweep reset" when power is very low or has been lost and jumped off. You're working with such a quagmire right now I don't know where to start lol.

If it wasn't an issue before it must something related to the removal and reinstallation of the engine, at least that's what i would imagine. Disconnect the battery and give it a full charge. Whil it's charging go over every connector and unplug it, then replug it, just to make sure. I've made the error before thinking something was plugged in and visually it was ok, and it was just out enough to give a partial connection and gave me all kinds of headaches.

I agreed. The unhook and rehook method is a sure way to catch a union that isn't tight.
