congrats on your purchase. the paint looks good because it has a good wax finish (probably). So the best thing you can do is learn how to maintain that finish. There have been good posts in the past do a search on wax or clay and you should get a ton of good advice.
If people are complimenting you on the car now, then don't change the badges. That's because anyone who knows what the badges stand for will criticize you, and word will spread.
Others here on this forum have done body kits and mods in moderation. But if you're happy with the appearance, theyou can look at some of the performance mods folks have done. Look at the sticky in the first section of this subforum.

so regular paint doesnt make it shiny its a wax? so say i had a car, and i got it painted black, after that do i need to get a wax finish coat or how will they make it shiny from painting it?

Look, all I can tell you is, like some1 alse said "love what you have"
I have am Authentic Saleen BodyKit on my Stang, and I stillhave my V6pony and v6 stipeson the side an also my V6 Badge on the back.... so all i can tell you isBe proud of what you have... some peoplewish they had a V6 or better.

ok ok lol!!! i love my stang!...
but i am craving more speed/power! i got a taste of the mustang, but i guess i want to get more into it!.. i decided to get a v8 on my 25th b-day (dont wana waste money on insurance now..)
so what are some simple things i can do to my 6 to get it quicker? i know NOTHING about upgrading mustangs..i used to be a tuner guy...but the things is, i want to get it as quick as i can, spending as little money as i can!!
so what are some simple mods i can do?

nah seriously just search around. the first mod everyone does is a CAI or just get a k+n from autozone and take off the silencer it will do the same job for cheaper...just wont look as pretty with the hood up. true dual exhaust, gotta make ur car loud. and gears. gears are the cheapest way to make your car faster short of nitrous. no HP gained, but it feels like it.

im pretty sure u CANT use GT stuff like pulleys on a v6. if you get shorty headers you need to get a long hpipe, that is a shorty hpipe for use with longtube headers. you wont be able to install the exhaust till u get the catback. u need an install kit for the gears too. gears are for your differential, since you got a v6 youll wanna look at getting a tlok also.
it doesnt "automatically increase performance" with a tuner. you load tunes with it
