Default Programmers?

I have been interested in knowing more about the programmers that have been mentioned on this site. I have an 03 v6 stang as previously stated with k&n drop in and flow 40's but am stumpped on what i should do next to get me the best bang for the buck. So i was hearing that these handheld programmers can add a good 7-10rwhp and same amount of trq and adjust shift time etc. I have an auto so i figured it could help a good deal power wise and such. So what is your guys thought on the subject? Is the programer worth it or should i just for something? BTW i cant be looking to spend to much but input is welcome.

'Thank you

-Ryan

Yeah no kiddin, I wonder where he might have got that idea lol

I have an XCal 2, I've been considering getting rid of it for the LiveWire. I'm gonna need the additional features for the new engine anyway.

I absolutely love it, I used to play withit a lot, but it works great out of the box and I never touch it anymore. It just stays in the backseat, just in case lol. I've been meaning to hook up the data logger since I finally have my laptop hooked up through my navigation unit, just lazy lol.

Mine was a good mod regardless of the mods I have, and the mods just helped it work better.

i have one on my 04 and its great shifts are way better i actualy have them set back to stock right now because its winter and i dont want it to be spinning while

but when i first got it i turned it to a 15 on all 3 shifts and left it their and it would spin my crappy tires coming out of 1st and pull like a **** going into 3rd you can turn it up to 25 but iv only gone as high as 15 and that was high eneough for me on those tires but once the spring comes and i take the winter tires off and put the new summers on i may try it
