I am looking for a replacement motor for my '91 2.3 It has the duel plug head. I have read conflicting information on when this motor was introduced into the mustang. I have read on this forum it was introduced in 1990 but most of the sites on the net show it as a "new" motor for 1991.

 

My 1990 has a single plug head . It runs great I am swapping for a V-8 if you come down and get it you can have it for free

 

Thanks fats429 thats exactly what I needed to know. I will pass on the motor only because I don't know for sure but I have a feeling there is some wiring harness or computer differences between the two motors. Good luck with the V8 swap

 

you can have it all brother I am going to run a carb it all yous if you want it this is a free lunch . I have bin trying to sell the motor and trans while it is in the car and told the buyers that I will drive the car to them so they can check it out and drive it . Nobody wants it , now I cant give it away so it most likely go to the scrap yard for $10.00 O well
