My cousin just installed a 3.8 into his car. After the install the fans dont turn on long enough to cool the engine. Also the car is running rich(using the old injectors - should still be good). Just need some ideas.

 

Did you change out the MAF or EEC at all? Also is your orignal engine a 98 also?

 

His old engine was a 98 also. I do not know if he changed those because he's in flordia and just called to see if i can ask around on the net. I'll find out tomorrow if he did or not.
