for the money you will spend on swapping a 220rwhp V8 in you can have 300+rwhp out of your V6.

put a procharger on it run 11 psi with a good tune and no bolt on GT could ever stay with you

Will have engine, wiring harness, computer.(this is the ecu right?) and ll the parts under the hood and the gauge will most likely be included because you pull it all at once and no one around here goes to the junkyard for gauges, and yes my friend and his dad have done alot of engine swaps im just wondering if it will be worth it to give up so much gas mileage for like 50 hp..i could just boost it and save gas right?

im with cobra...build the six. you can do it cheap if you do it right....believe me i know....i cant do it cheap lol.....anyways go with the 4.2 and boost that sucker....stock for stock the 4.2 is the same as the 5.0 anyways.....the only advantage the 5.0 has imo is the better sound

If you were going to do the 4.6L swap you would essentially need the transmission to go along with it. The 5.0 and the 3.8 are supposed to be ok to swap the transmissions but the 4.6L has a different bellhousing.

u need a different tranny, radiator, front suspension, rear end, guage cluster, k member, full exhaust, the fuel rails and injectors if the motor doesnt have them on it, etc...

you will literally be stripping this car down to a shell and keeping the interior with everything you have to swap. its not easy, you would be better off selling your 6 and buying a gt

Maybe he has money that he just wants to throw away. He can throw it in my trash-can if he wants to.

It would make sense if a person did have tons of money to geta cheap V6 and strip it out and stick in all brand new awesome parts. Then they wouldn't be wasting their money on a GT or Cobra that they were still going to tear down anyway.
